Chilli Friggitello (Pepperoncini) - 10 Seeds
Pepperoncini Chilli originates in Italy and Greece, though their popularity has spread throughout the world. They are very popular and are also known as Tuscan Chilli, sweet Italian chilli, or golden Greek chilli.
The chillies are sweet and mild in flavour, not very hot, although they can vary and be found up to a medium heat level.
You have most likely encountered a pickled pepperoncino in an Italian antipasto platter, Italian salad, or served up on a pizza or sub sandwich somewhere.
They are most often found pickled. You can purchase the chillies in jars, pickled, where they last quite some time, offering up their sweetened, tangy flavour.
Care & Growing Instructions: Germination temperature is between 20°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
