Description
Chilli Hanoi Red Vietnam Bird Eye - 10 Seeds
The Hanoi Red Chilli is from Vietnam. A lovely looking plant that grows to about a meter tall in a pot and it would grow bigger, if you plant it in the ground. It’s a bushy plant full of 3 cm long pods, that start off green and end up a bright red, when they are fully mature.
The pods are very similar to the Birds Eye chilli. They have a sharp upper medium heat and a sour light bitter taste. This variety would be great for Asian cooking, pickling & stir fries.
All in all, a great looking plant, easy to grow and an awesome producer.
Care & Growing Instructions: Germination temperature is between 20°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
