Kurtovska kapija is a popular variety of Sweet chilli, which belongs to the Capsicum genus (Capsicum annuum var. annuum (Grossum Group) 'Kurtovska kapija'.
It is a sweet cultivar with very long red, conical (but bit flattened), thick-skinned 100-150 g fruits on a compact plant, very productive. It’s very good for roasting, canning and day-to-day use.
'Kurtovska kapija' is considered an heirloom cultivar. This variety is a vegetable that typically grows as an Annual, which is defined as a plant that matures and completes its lifecycle over the course of a single year. Kurtovska kapija is known for growing to a height of approximately 55 cm.
