CHILLI Scotch Bonnet ‘Jamaican Yellow’ - 10 Seeds
Also known as, Bahama Mama, Jamaican Hot, Scotty Bons, Bonney chilli, Boabs Bonnet, Caribbean Hot and goat chilli.
Scotch bonnet chillies are very similar to Habanero chillies in both appearance and heat. With Scoville ratings that top out at 400,000, Scotch bonnet peppers are originally from the Caribbean, taking their name from their resemblance to the hats Scottish men wear, rather than their place of origin.
Also called Yellow squash chilli. The Scotch bonnet has a sweeter flavor and stouter shape, distinct from its habanero relative with which it is often confused and gives jerk dishes and other Caribbean dishes their unique flavor. When fully grown, the plant can give you a lot of fresh fruit during the chilli season which lasts approximate 4 to 6 months.
