The offer (the fun bit)

Take 20% off storewide with code SOWDAD20 until Sunday 6 September 2026, 11:59pm AEST. Enter the code at checkout and watch the total drop. Almost everything is included: seed potatoes, garden tools, value packs, bulk packs, our certified organic range of 80+ varieties, and just about every packet of seeds we sell.

The only two holdouts are our famous $1 seed packets (we have tried, but we cannot make a dollar any cheaper) and gift cards, which are always sold at face value.

Delivery for Father's Day: the honest version

Most of you are here for spring shopping, and for that any postage service is fine. Seeds do not check the calendar. But if your parcel is a gift that must be in dad's hands by Sunday 6 September, read this bit properly.

NEED IT BY FATHER'S DAY? Choose Express Post and order by Monday 31 August 2026, 11:59pm AEST. We pack Express Post orders at top priority and lodge them with Australia Post on Tuesday 1 September, the first mail day of spring. Not sending a gift? Any postage is fine. (WA and TAS: biosecurity inspection can add days, so this window does not apply there.)
  • Express Post jumps the queue: every Express Post order placed by the cutoff gets packed first and goes into the Australia Post network on Tuesday 1 September, the first day of spring. From there, Express usually lands in 1 to 2 business days for most metro areas.
  • Dispatch time (everyone else): standard orders currently leave our warehouse in 2 to 4 business days. Perfect for your own garden, ambitious for a Sunday deadline.
  • Transit time: depends on the service you choose and where you live. Once your parcel is with the carrier, its speed belongs to them, not us. Even Express Post is not a guarantee; it is the best available odds.
  • WA and TAS: seeds and plant material entering Western Australia and Tasmania go through biosecurity inspection. Wonderful for keeping pests out, terrible for deadlines: it can add days, so the Express Post window above does not apply, and we cannot promise pre-Sunday arrival to WA or TAS with any service.

Missed the cutoff, or shipping to WA or TAS? Two proven rescues: a gift card lands in his inbox in about a minute (face value, not discounted), and a card with "it's on its way" written inside has saved more Father's Days than socks ever have. A garden gift that arrives a few days late still plants right on time. Spring has only just started.

Sale terms (the firm bit)

We keep these short and we mean every word:

  • Code SOWDAD20 is valid until Sunday 6 September 2026, 11:59pm AEST. When it ends, it ends.
  • Excluded from the discount: $1 seed packets and gift cards. A dollar is a dollar, and a gift card is a gift card.
  • Products only, no shipping discounts: the code does not reduce or waive postage. Standard shipping rates apply.
  • One code per order, no stacking: SOWDAD20 cannot be combined or clubbed with any other discount code, welcome code, bundle code or offer. Our discounts do not make friends.
  • Father's Day delivery is not guaranteed: your best odds are Express Post ordered by Monday 31 August 2026, 11:59pm AEST (packed at priority, lodged Tuesday 1 September), subject to carrier performance. This does not apply to WA and TAS. After the cutoff, or with any other postage service, please do not expect arrival before Sunday 6 September.
  • No refunds or cancellations for late gift arrival: we say this with love, but we mean it. Orders cannot be refunded or cancelled because they did not arrive before Father's Day. Choose your postage with the guidance above in mind.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
