Gardeners tend to fill up their gardens with happy, bright flowers and Sunflower plant, going by the botanical name of Helianthus, is extremely famous for this purpose. Coming from the family of Daisies, Sunflowers are annual and perennial plants having brilliantly coloured yellow flowers, the petals arranged in a way as to mimic “rays.” They are an absolute favourite blooming gleefully in summer months. Sunflower plants are used to make livestock feed as well as in food and as oil for humans.
